This documentary series examines the choice to bomb Japan and gives viewers an up-close look at the events of that fateful day. August 6, 1945, was when the atomic bomb exploded on the city of Hiroshima. It killed tens of thousands of people, and the decision to drop the weapon of mass destruction was difficult for the American government -- but one that its leaders felt was necessary to end World War II.
The Hangar opens at 6:00 p.m.
The movie starts promptly at 7:15 p.m.
