Aviation Movie Night!

The Greatest Flight

Peter McMillan and Lang Kidby recreate a historic flight from England to Australia in the open-air cockpit of an exact replica of the Vicky Vimmers biplane that made the journey in 1919 in this riveting program from National Geographic.  Retracing the exact flight path, the pilots travel 15,000 miles passing stunning landscapes and historic sites like the Taj Mahal.  Along the way, they endure stormy weather, bureaucratic red tape and more.

VAA 37 Airport Work Party

  - Hangar will open at 9:00a

On Saturday at 9:00a we will again be hosting a chapter work party to assist the DeKalb County Airport with the equipment clean-up project.  The hangar opens at 9:00a so please come spend a couple of hours assisting us with the annual task.

On Sunday we will hold our annual Chili event at the VAA 37 hangar.  Come join us and enjoy the camaraderie of this excellent event!

Bring a dish - a dessert - cornbread - or your own Chili recipe!

The hangar opens at noon and the plan is to start serving at around 3:00p.
