In 1940, Nazi air strikes decimated Britain's Royal Air Force fleet of American planes. This intriguing documentary tells of the canny solution that helped restore the Allies' dominance. Volunteer civilian pilots departing from Canada braved long flights across the North Atlantic in the middle of winter to deliver new planes. Interviews, vintage footage, and home movies profile the valiant few who undertook this little-known mission.
