Chapter Get Together - Christmas Party / Carry-In Dinner

Hangar Flying starts at 5:00p, Dinner begins at 7:00p
Make plans now to attend the 2010 VAA Chapter 37 Holiday “Get Together”. This year it will be a ”potluck” held at the GWB hangar clubhouse and take place on December 11th. Cocktails and “hangar flying” will begin at 5:00p with dinner following at 7:00p. The Chapter will provide the ham, coffee, and soft drinks with Chapter members bringing their favorite side dish or dessert. Contact Nancy or Drew Hoffman at 260-693-9747 ASAP with your selection and the number of people that will be attending so the Chapter can plan accordingly.
The Chapter will also be collecting 2011 dues at that time. Due to the Holiday “Get Together” and the busy holiday season, there will be no Chapter meeting for this month. A short business meeting will be held do discuss anything necessary at the “Get Together”.

Hop in the cockpit and brace yourself for aerial adventure with this rousing Howard Hawks-directed World War II drama. En route to Hawaii, the crew of a B-17 "flying fortress" witnesses the Pearl Harbor attack from above. Reassigned to Manila, the crew (which includes John Garfield, Arthur Kennedy and Harry Carey) then sees plenty of action in several savage battles in the Pacific. The movie won an Oscar for its editing.
